2013 in Outfits: Part 2

In no particular order (again, because chronological order was too much for me) - here is the second selection of my pictures. During the second part of the year my face made more of a regular appearance - although it didn't appear in every post. Some days the camera and my face just don't get on. They say the camera adds 10 Ibs - sometimes I'm sure it also throws in 10 spots for good measure.

I want to get a bit cheddar cheesy for a second and say a massive thank you for reading my blog - it's so nice of you to stop by :-)

So, I'm going to leave you with some silver pointy shoes and say HAPPY NEW YEAR! Have a great one.

Thanks again,

Love, Hannah x

2013 in Outfits: Part 1

In no particular order (mainly because I got confused about what went where) here is a selection of outfits from the first half of 2013. The year began with me being to scared to put my face on this blog but as the year went on I managed to show a bit more until one sunny day in April (in a moment of madness) I took a close up of my face and clicked submit. Ah man - I have been super brave this year!

I hope you've had a wonderful year and you have been as reckless as me :-)

Happy (little bit late) Holidays!

Dress & Bag: Charity Shop, Boots - New Look

Happy Holidays! I hope you had a wonderful few days and you have had some festive fun with your lovely family/friends. This festive-y dress was from a charity shop a few weeks ago - it was perfect for the inevitable overindulging of the past few days (read: weeks). The belt ensured this dress was Christmas friendly!

Thank you so much for reading this little blog over the last year :)

Have a wonderful Boxing Eve :)

Boots and a Peacock

Boots - Charity Shop (originally Clarks), Skirt - Charity Shop (Unbranded), Top - Topshop, Bag - Matalan

This post is mainly about the wondering Peacock - how amazing is it? But it's also about these boots. I've got a lot of love for them - after realising (in the charity shop) that they were size 5.5 I had to have them - it was fate. Coming in at £4 and having worn them 3 times in the past week I feel as though the price per wear is already satisfyingly low! I'm looking forward to wearing with skinny jeans (rolled up a bit), a black slouchy t-shirt, a fedora and red lips - I don't have any of these clothes yet so I might have to wait until after Christmas to wear this outfit....

Hope you're having a lovely week :)

Charity Party Outfit

Skirt - Charity Shop, Top (Bodysuit) - American Apparel, Bag - ASOS, Flatforms - Next to Nothing (Next Outlet), Hat - TK Maxx

Christmas is a wonderful time of year. I find myself going out too much and spending too much money - to be fair, the money spent isn't all on myself! In order to scout out for some new party clothes on a non-party budget I hit the charity shops - of course! I picked up this skirt. Initially it wasn't my size but I soon unpicked the sides of the skirts and stitched them back a few pleats in. It was super easy and being half price in the charity shop sale it was alll mine for £2!

Silver Shoes

Shoes - Next to Nothing (Outlet Next), Trousers - Topshop, Shirt & Scarf - Charity Shop, Hat - TKMaxx, Jacket - Oasis, Bag - ASOS, Necklace - Primark

These shoes were £5!? That's £5 - like the price of two coffees or a few trips on the bus! This weekend my sister and I took a trip to the local Outlet Centre and set ourselves the challenge of buying all our Christmas presents in 2 hours. We (almost) did it and I managed to sneakily purchase these silver, party shoes. My sister was the angel on my shoulder questioning whether I really needed a pair of flat, pointed, silver shoes. I thought about it carefully and decided I did need them. Like I needed my satin, purple, leopard print flatforms and my brown, pointed, snakeskin boots (also from the sale/charity shop).

Hope you've had a lovely weekend.

Gold to Velvet

Top-Topshop, Skirt - H&M (via EBay), Necklace - Oxfam, Bag - Primark, Boots - Schuh (old)

I bought this top with some ah-mazing birthday Topshop vouchers. The vouchers are gold in my eyes. After a-a lot of deliberation I went for this loose and lovely velvet t-shirt. Perfect for the festive feasts which seem to be coming around so quickly. There is also THIS equally as festive-friendly, black and gold version which I love just as much. It was a tough ol' decision...!

Happy December!
